After such a terrible accident, we should not point fingers, and parents especially should be comforted as they face both grief and excessive guilt. But for all of us who have never had something like this happen: Don't! Keep your kids far away from lawnmowers! It is one of the single greatest causes of childhood amputation across the U.S.
